Apple Cider Sangria

December 10, 2016 By Garden Fresh Foodie

Apple Cider Sangria

Holiday time calls for some festive drinks, right? While this is not a regular  occurrence, I find making a special cocktail for a party is a fun thing to bring along. This cocktail is a sangria, made with dry white wine, apple cider, in-season clementines, apples, pears, and cranberries.  It’s so pretty, plus, at least you add in some fiber, right?!

Sangria is best made several hours or up to 24 hours ahead of time. Pears tend to not hold up as long as apples, oranges, and cranberries, so if using, add them in a few hours before consuming. You can mix the wine, cider, brandy, and spices ahead of time.

This recipe for Apple Cider Sangria is SO easy, and it will warm the soul! I doubled this for our last holiday celebration.  Cheers to a healthy and happy 2017!Glass of Apple Cider Sangria With Cranberries, Apples, &Pears
